What makes inhabitum unique

Inhabitum was born from a desire to establish a design practice

creating interiors around paintings, artworks and individual objects rather then based on abstract, predetermined styles. I’ve always felt it is our possessions which define our spaces and reflect our characters the most. It’s often the objects of emotional rather then material value we want to surround ourselves with: that’s what makes us feel at home.
My philosophy is rooted in an understanding of how paintings, photographs and other various artworks work in a space. Their style, technique, colours, size, age, light and even the type of framing allows me to place each of them in the perfect location - something I consider to be the crucial element of designing interiors.

of the architectural components are the foundation for locating artworks and achieving the right feel.

Understanding the context of each space and realising the language of its components is key.
